SolarEdge P400 Power Optimizer 400W – Solar Panel Module-Level Optimizer

The SolarEdge P400 Power Optimizer is a module-level DC power optimizer designed to maximize energy production from individual photovoltaic solar panels when used with a compatible SolarEdge inverter.

Installed directly at the solar module, the P400 performs individual maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for each panel. This helps reduce energy losses caused by partial shading, manufacturing tolerances, soiling, aging, and differences in panel orientation.

The P400 also provides module-level monitoring and SolarEdge's SafeDC functionality, which reduces optimizer output voltage to approximately 1V when the SolarEdge inverter is shut down or disconnected.
