The Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast G2 is a versatile professional camera designed for broadcast television, live production, ENG/EFP, studio production, and digital cinema. Blackmagic describes the G2 as a “3 cameras in 1” system because it can operate as a 4K broadcast production camera, 4K studio camera, or 6K digital cinema camera.

At the heart of the URSA Broadcast G2 is a 6144 × 3456 6K digital film sensor delivering 13 stops of dynamic range and excellent low-light performance. When used with the installed B4 mount, the camera utilizes a 4K sensor window optimized for traditional 2/3-inch broadcast lenses. The included active EF mount can also be installed to take advantage of the full 6K sensor with compatible EF lenses.
